PUBLIC NOTICE PUBLIC NOTICE OF SIGNIFICANT INDUSTRIAL POLLUTION VIOLATIONS UNDER SECTION 307 OF THE FEDERAL CLEAN WATER ACT CITY OF NEWBERRY PUBLIC NOTICE In accordance with the requirements of the United States Environmental Protection Agency in 40 CFR 403.8(f)(2)(viii), the City of Newberry herewith provides notification to the public of those industrial dischargers to its wastewater system which were determined to be in significant noncompliance of applicable Pretreatment Standards or Other Requirements during the period from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025. The Industrial users identified below were found to be in significant noncompliance. Samsung Electronics Home Appliances Reporting violations; Discharge limits 284 Mawsons Way violations Newberry, SC 29108 The City has exercised enforcement actions as provided by its ordinances and industrial pretreatment program to bring the violators listed above into acceptable standards for pretreatment of industrial wastewater.
