Public Notice Chapter 10 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Newberry, South Carolina requires every person engaged in any calling, business, occupation or profession within the limits of the City of Newberry to renew the annual business license on or before April 30 of each year. Late penalties and fees will be applied to any business license renewal received in the Finance Office of the City of Newberry after April 30, 2026. For any business that has already had the license renewal fee calculated by the City Finance Office, penalties will still apply to any unpaid amount received in the City Finance Office after April 30, 2026. Please note that the business license ordinance also applies to home occupations and to owners of rental property.
